STOODY® Super 20 5/32" Dia X 14" Hard Facing Electrode comes in a 10 lb box and has a heavy extruded coating that comprises of the alloying elements. Electrode is ideal for crusher parts, coke pusher shoes, ash fan blade, hot slag dipper teeth, spiral conveyors, pug mill paddles, feed mill hammers, sintering plant parts and anhydrous ammonia plows. It has excellent good wear resistance that is attributed to the addition of molybdenum, tungsten and chromium. Shielded metal arc welding electrode should be welded with a short arc and can be applied as either stringer or weave beads. Electrode can be used in hot wear service up to 1100 deg F. Deposits will cross check and should be restricted to one layer. The deposits are not machinable or forgeable. Electrode can operate on DC reverse polarity.
