Proprietary Clean Bond resin technology combines with a premium aluminum oxide abrasive grain and a nylon fiber bonded to a Y-weight polyester backing to provide up to a 20-percent higher cut rate compared to other surface conditioning belts. The durable backing is low-stretch, ideal for applications requiring minimal stretching. An open coat produces smear-free finishes, even on alloys with high nickel content, and the disc produces minimal loading on soft metals.
