Harris® 180 is a unique chromium carbide electrode combining unsurpassed weldability, plus super impact and abrasion resistance and high hardness. It is the ideal alloy combination where hardness and toughness are required on carbon and alloy steels, manganese steels and cast irons.

Features

  • Yields economical, smooth overlays
  • Ripple-free surface doubles "grip resistance" to fine abrasive media
  • Used to protect most iron-based surfaces against severe abusive wear and moderate impact.
  • Incredible weldability that is impact and abrasion resistant, while yielding results that are extremely hard
  • General purpose maintenance and repair alloy
  • Used on crusher jaws, hammers, bucket lips and teeth, wear plates, pins, axles, shafts, cams and eccentrics.
  • Produces hard and tough results on carbon and alloy steels, manganese steels and cast iron
  • Formulation totally eliminates the "worm tracking" type porosity common to this alloy group
  • Amperage: 140-175A (1/8 in x 14 in), 160-225A (5/32 in x 14 in)
  • Deposit Thickness: 1/4 in max
  • Hardness: RC 57 to 61
  • Polarity: AC or DC reverse or straight polarity
  • Sizes: 1/8 in x 14 in, 5/32 in x 14 in
  • Material Compatibility: Carbon steel, Alloy steel, Manganese steel, Cast iron
  • Applications: Carbon steel, Manganese steel, Crusher jaws, Hammers, Bucket lips, Teeth, Wear plates, Pins, Axles, Shafts, Cams, Eccentrics
  • Weight: 1.06 lbs
