STOODY® 1105 1/8" Dia x 14" Hard Facing Electrode comes in a 10 lb vac pak and has an extruded coating of the alloying elements. Electrode is ideal for tractor rollers, tractor idlers, arch wheels, shovel rollers, idlers sprockets and drive tumblers, churn drills, charging car wheels, wobblers and coupling boxes. It bonds readily to carbon and low alloy steels and is not encouraged for manganese steels or cast irons. Shielded metal arc welding electrode is designed for wear resistance in metal-to-metal applications. It provides good weldability and a high deposition rate. Electrode can be applied in stringer or weave beads using DC current, either polarity.
