This IRWIN 13/16-inch Impact-Wrench Utility-Pole Auger Bit uses a single spur, cutter and side lip that are designed for boring through creosoted poles with minimal clogging, binding and stopping to clear chips. The auger drill bit features an extra-long twist that is ideal for boring large poles, construction timbers and for multiple timber applications. These auger bits utilize a full-length heat treatment to guard against bending in heavy-duty applications. A hex shank design allows use in impact-wrench drills.
