STOODY® STOODITE® 21 CTD 3/16" Dia X 14" Hard Facing Electrode comes in a 10 lb vac pak and bonds well for all weldable steels, including stainless steel. Electrode is ideal for typical applications which include steam valves, forging dies, hydro-turbine cavitation's repair, hot shears, piercing plugs, chemical and petrochemical valves. Coated electrode deposits a low carbon austenitic type cobalt alloy with great work hardenable high temperature strength and impact resistance. These deposits are quite stable during thermal cycling and making them a favorite for hot die materials. Electrode is suitable for valve trim on steam and fluid control valve bodies and seats. STOODITE 21 bare rod provides a low carbon austenitic type deposit with excellent work hardenable high temperature strength and impact resistance. The deposits are quite stable, making them a favorite selection for hot die materials.

Applications
