STOODY® Railend 932 1/4" Dia X 14" Hard Facing Electrode comes in a 10 lb vac pak and has a great tensile strength to maintain the desired rail dimensions. Electrode is ideal for carbon steel rail ends, wheel burns, frogs and railroad crossings. It is a solid cored electrode deigned particularly for repair of carbon steel railroad track components. Electrode has a low hydrogen type of coating and is developed for welding onto high carbon steel rails and frogs. Shielded metal arc welding electrode is recommended to operate on DC reverse polarity using either stringer or weave beads. Railend 932 has fine weldability and a good contour.
