This IRWIN Left-Hand Cobalt HSS Fractional Mechanics-Length Drill Bit is made from 8% cobalt-alloyed steel for higher heat- and abrasion-resistance. A shorter length provides additional strength. The drill bit is useful for drilling into fasteners without tightening them and can often remove broken fasteners without the use of an extractor.
