The iron powder low hydrogen coating of Wear-Arc 6-IP electrodes promotes good bonds with manganese and carbon steels. Wear-Arc 6-IP is recommended for the reclamation of parts subject to wear caused by abrasion and light impact. This electrode is ideal for field work where parts cannot be positioned for downhand welding.
