For edge preparation, removal of welds or defects in steel with a gouging capacity of 3/8 in. (10mm) wide and ¼ in. (6mm) deep. For use with all medium-duty and standard-duty combination torches.

• Protects the tip seat from nicking for longer use.
• Helps to reduce backfire and resist flameout.
• Assures lowest amount of mixed gas in the system. Sustained backfire can be isolated in the tip, helping protect the operator and the torch.
