Innershield® NR®-232 self-shielded flux-core wire is designed for high deposition, out-of-position welding for structural fabrication in seismic zones. Recommended for single or multiple pass welding of 4.8 mm (3/16 in) and heavier carbon steel. Typical applications include structural fabrication, general plate fabrication, hull plate and stiffener welding on ships and barges, and machinery parts, tacks, hoppers, racks and scaffolding.
