Safety-Silv® 38TCW high silver, cadmium-free, flux-cored brazing filler metal is primarily used to braze copper, brass, bronze and steel. This alloy is often specified as an economical replacement for higher silver content brazing alloys and hazardous cadmium containing brazing products. Safety-Silv® 38T contains an inner core of brazing flux that eliminates a second fluxing operation. Its wide melting range makes it useful in filling connections where tight clearance cannot be maintained. Conforms to the EU Reach & RoHS directive.
