Safety-Silv® 30 silver brazing filler metal is primarily designed for brazing copper, brass, and steel. This alloy has a wider melting range that allows it to be used where part clearance cannot be tightly controlled. Safety-Silv 30 is often selected as a lower cost, cadmium free, replacement for higher silver content alloys. Safety-Silv 30 should be heated at a rapid rate through its melting range to avoid liquation. Conforms to the EU Reach & RoHS directive.
